Startforth Neighbourhood Plan
A Neighbourhood Planning Referendum will be held for Startforth Neighbourhood Plan on Thursday 18 December 2025.
The referendum will be conducted in accordance with procedures similar to those used at local government elections and ask whether you want Durham County Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area.

Neighbourhood Plan Referendum
A referendum will be held on Thursday 18 December 2025 to decide on the following question:
Do you want Durham County Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Startforth to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
Electors eligible to vote in the referendum will receive a polling card issued by Durham County Council.
